Anxiety-Free Color Theory 10/17

Forget the intimidating art-school color theory jargon. In this half-day class, we’ll explore color the way quilters actually use it—by looking at the “neighborhood” where our fabrics live. You’ll meet color housemates, get to know the tricky in-laws, and finally understand why most fabric collections seem stuffed with 97 bajillion medium-value prints but barely a whisper of lights or darks.
Using approachable language and hands-on exercises, you’ll learn how colors interact, how to spot gaps in your stash, and how to make confident choices for your projects. We’ll also play with a few easy (and free) apps that can help organize your color palettes without adding stress.
Skill Level: no experience required

Parking
The entrance is one way so enter where the 2 big rocks are and drive all the way around to the west side of the building. There is angled parking along the wall. Come in through the front entrance and we are to the right in Unit C.
